The Church as a Hospital

• Scripture Basis: “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” – Mark 2:17

What does this mean?

• The church is a place for healing broken hearts, restoring wounded souls, and caring for the hurting.
• People don’t come to church because they’re perfect — they come because they’re in need of grace.
• Just like a hospital, we come as we are — with spiritual injuries, addictions, pain, sin, and doubts — and Christ is the Great Physician who heals.

🏫 The Church as a School

• Scripture Basis: “Go and make disciples of all nations... teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” – Matthew 28:19–20
  “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another.” – Colossians 3:16

What does this mean?

• The church is a place to learn, grow in the Word, and train to live a godly life.
• The Bible is our textbook, the Holy Spirit is our Teacher, and we are lifelong students (disciples).
• Like a good school, the church equips us with truth, wisdom, discernment, and Christlike character.
