 Reflection on Our 54th Anniversary (20 September 1971-2025)

We spent 8 years in Vietnam, 1 year on a refugee island, and 45 years in the USA. God blessed us to raise 2 children and 5 grandsons. Through many trials and life’s challenges, the husband returned to his medical profession, while the wife faithfully supported the family, the church, and the community.

Together, we have served the Lord and built a strong Christian family grounded in faith. Praise the Lord! We do not know what the future holds, but we pray every day: pray together, stay together.

We entrust everything into God’s hands.

 Suy ngẫm kỷ niệm 54 năm hôn nhân
Chúng tôi đã trải qua 8 năm ở Việt Nam, 1 năm trên đảo tị nạn, và 45 năm tại Hoa Kỳ. Chúa ban phước cho chúng tôi nuôi dạy được 2 người con và 5 cháu trai. Trải qua bao thử thách và khó khăn trong cuộc sống, người chồng trở lại nghề y, người vợ tận tụy giúp đỡ gia đình, Hội Thánh và cộng đồng.

Cùng nhau, chúng tôi phục vụ Chúa và xây dựng một gia đình Cơ Đốc vững mạnh trong đức tin. Tạ ơn Chúa! Chúng tôi không biết tương lai sẽ ra sao, nhưng mỗi ngày đều cầu nguyện: cầu nguyện chung, gắn bó bền lâu.

Chúng con trao phó mọi sự trong tay Chúa.

Réflexion à l’occasion de notre 54ᵉ anniversaire
Nous avons passé 8 ans au Vietnam, 1 an sur une île de réfugiés et 45 ans aux États-Unis. Dieu nous a bénis en nous donnant 2 enfants et 5 petits-fils. À travers de nombreuses épreuves et les défis de la vie, le mari est revenu à la profession médicale, tandis que l’épouse a fidèlement soutenu la famille, l’Église et la communauté.

Ensemble, nous avons servi le Seigneur et bâti une famille chrétienne forte dans la foi. Gloire au Seigneur ! Nous ne savons pas ce que l’avenir nous réserve, mais nous prions chaque jour : prier ensemble, rester unis.

Nous remettons toutes choses entre les mains de Dieu.
